The Missouri S&T Solar House Design Team is a student-led organization with one mission — to build a brighter, more sustainable future. Each year, our team designs a fully sustainable home from the ground up. From the site layout to the last outlet on the wall, every decision is made with care to create a home that benefits the environment, the homeowner, and the community.
This year, we’re thrilled to compete at the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Competition in Orlando, Florida! After months of hard work designing our newest solar home, we’ll finally have the chance to showcase our project, connect with industry leaders, and gain invaluable hands-on experience that will shape our futures as engineers, designers, and builders.
We’re raising funds to help 10 dedicated Missouri S&T students represent our university on a national stage. Our overall fundraising goal is $12,000, and this campaign is an important step toward making that possible. We’ve set an initial crowdfunding target of $2,500 to cover essentials like plane tickets, hotel rooms, transportation, and fuel. Every dollar brings us closer to our journey — and if we surpass our starting goal, we’ll raise the ceiling so your support can continue to push us toward fully funding the team’s trip.
Why Your Support Matters:
- You’re empowering students to turn sustainable ideas into real-world solutions.
- You’re helping future engineers and designers gain professional experience.
- You’re investing in the future of clean, renewable living.
Every donation is 100% tax-deductible, and every bit of support helps us reach our goal.
Join us in building a sustainable tomorrow!
Help us reach our crowdfunding goal to make this trip a reality. Thank you for believing in the Missouri S&T Solar House Design Team — and in the power of student innovation!
